When we think of having fun on holiday, we generally think of amusement parks. There are, however, other ways to have fun while on vacation. So, with that in mind, we shall explore 3 places where family fun can be had.
Bali, Indonesia
If your family loves water, then Bali makes the ideal destination to have fun. Here, you can explore the reefs or join a boat tour and spot dolphins in action. If everyone prefers it drier, then on land there is the famed Monkey Forest of Ubud. The fun-loving creatures like to be close to humans. You can also further your children’s education by taking them to one of the museums or temples.
Theme Parks of the US
The United States of America plays host to some of the best theme parks in the world. We can hardly ignore them when they promise such fun.
For example, in Orlando, Florida, we have Magic Kingdom Park, one of the parks that make up Walt Disney World (there are 4 parks in total so, if you were wondering “is Disney World big?”, that may answer your question). The attractions here are family-friendly and it is a place where the beloved Disney characters will feature. In 2019, this park, located at the Walt Disney World Resort, was the most-visited theme park in the world, attracting 21 million guests. It continues to entice millions of visitors each year. Magic Kingdom’s top 5 attractions, in no particular order, are Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Space Mountain. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in New Fantasyland is also known as a People mover. Apart from being a rollercoaster, it is also a classic Disney ride. Its drop is 39 feet and higher than Space Mountain. So, there is plenty of adrenalin-fuelled fun to be had here.
Other US Theme Parks in just Florida include Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Fun Spot America Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Universal Studios Florida.
Universal’s Islands of Adventure has a new ride called the VelociCoaster and a Harry Potter-themed land, which will please children and adults alike who have read the magical Harry Potter Series of books or watched the movies which bring the characters to life.
If you venture into California, at Universal Studios Hollywood, as you might expect, you can have a studio tour and tram ride through movie sets.
For music fans, there is the Dolly-Parton-owned Dollywood. This is located in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. It offers a combination of thrilling rides and family-orientated attractions as well as musical entertainment and nice food. Sussex, England
If you live in the UK, then look no further than Sussex. It is an ideal place to experience the coast and countryside. The experience is considered ideal for babies and toddlers as well as younger children.
Offering the ideal British seaside holiday, all the fun can be had on the beach or grassy patches of land. It is for you to have fun in the open spaces. So, it’s a case of buckets and spades and ball games and hoping for some good weather.

The mission of the Brighton Fringe Festival is to stimulate, educate, and entertain. So, the fun is there to be had for the whole family.
